Navy Memorial Park
The famous Navy Memorial Park is situated across the shores of Lake Michigan in Kenosha, Wisconsin, United States of America. The park has been set up in the dedicated memory of the Coast Guard and Marines in the United States of America from Kenosha. The Navy Memorial Park is known to sit at a fitting location and overlooks the Kenosha Marina, Kenosha Lighthouse, and Kenosha Pierhead Light.
There are several maritime artifacts that are known to reside in the park –including de-activated torpedo and an anchor. The park is spread out across an area of one acre. The park is also known to serve as the trailhead for providing way to the walking path. The path is known to follow the course to the channel of the marina to the park’s lakefront area. The premise is situated past the pierhead lights and across the harbor.
The Navy Memorial Park is a city green space featuring a walking track along with a fishing pier and several statues that aim at honoring the veterans of the Navy of the United States of America. The park is also known to host a series of outdoor events from time to time. The park has amazing walking and bike riding trails while offering incredible views of the lakefront and surrounding areas.
